STREET ART EXHIBITION | FRI 8 AUG
Northern Beaches Street artist INDO brings his 4th art exhibition to Cactus Blue Micro in Neutral Bay on Friday 8th August 2014.The exhibition will consist of 35 pieces displayed inside the venue; ranging from Tom York, Rolf harris, Felix the cat to Mickey Mouse. Out back, INDO will be transforming the rundown unloved alleyway, into a world class Melbourne street alley right in front of your eyes in a live art display. The result will feature 15" lit up ‘Crateman’, cartoon pop art characters, painted stairs, stencils and more.
Australian street art is a relatively new phenomenon currently gaining momentum and bursting into mainstream culture.
While Melbourne leads the way, Sydney artists such as INDO are bringing unsurpassed street art to Sydney.
INDO’s work is influenced by inner city urban style art & graffiti stencils, smothered by a love of music.
Colours and upbeat imagery is what he’s renowned for.
